| Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up on PCE detect well #5 DETAILS: Spoke to Derrick about 0.002 mg/L detect of tetrachloroethylene (PCE) from 3/11/15 sample from the entry point of well #5 and #9, with well #5 contributing exclusively to the sample. Sample result is in range of previous detects, while above detection limit of 0.0005 mg/L, is below MCL of 0.005 mg/L. City is researching potential causes of chemical seen in well #5. City uses #5 occasionally, generally once a week, to keep the well exercised and to meet peak demands. ACTION NEEDED: City to continue once annual sampling during first quarter at the entry point with well #5 only contributing to the sample, with the next sample due in 2016. DWS to support City in researching potential source of contaminant. | ||
