| Details: | SUMMARY: HAA5 was detected above MCL on 2/25/2015 DETAILS: HAA5 was detected at a level of 0.0755 mg/L in a sample collected on 2/25/2015. Talked with Tony Lakey and sent a follow up email discussing the next steps since the LRAA was 0.073. The circuit rider visited the system to discuss options for lowering DBPs. The steps Canyonville took were: reduced chlorine dosage, flushed the distribution lines, and routinely turning off WTP periodically to make water in the reservoirs cycle. The system will continue quarterly monitoring and review after May results. Also, public notice will need to be resent to customers because of MCL violation. ACTION NEEDED: Continue routine quarterly monitoring for DBPs. Re-send public notice with new dates. Will review after May samples are received. | ||
