| Details: | SUMMARY: Systems Well is Out of Service, Must be Abandoned DETAILS: Received a call from Chad with Zollman/Burd Well Drilling who asked about the seal requirements on a new well for this system. An attempted well repair by Wallace Drilling that was required by Water Resources Department failed. The well is out of service and must be abandoned. Called John. The church has been out of water for about a week since the well repair work started. Bottled water is being provided for drinking, and a temporary tank is set up with hauled water so the bathrooms can be used. Discussed checking with the City of Hermiston to see if connecting to city water is a possibility. Discussed plan review and setback requirements should the church pursue drilling a new well. ACTION NEEDED: System to determine whether they can connect to city water or if a new well will be drilled. | ||
