| Details: | SUMMARY: Annual nitate sample tested above 50% of the MCL at 6.1 ppm DETAILS: I first consulted with Russ Kazmeirczak regarding this detection. This system went through a year of quarterly samples in 2008 for nitrates levels above 5.0 ppm. They have been reliably and consistently below 10 ppm from 2008 to present. We discussed that having the operator conduct quarterly samples was not necessary. We discussed the need to sample in the month with highest results. The highest result was in January 1996 with a result of 10.1 ppm. I called Philip and spoke to him about the results and requested he sample in January. ACTION NEEDED: Monitor annual test results. | ||
