| Details: | SUMMARY: Repeat TC Alert DETAILS: All 4 of the repeat samples were positive for total coliform. I sent Adam the tier 1 boil water public notice. He is having Merrill Well Service onsite on 4/16 to determine what can be done to the well/system. I went out and met with Adam and Phillip Merrill on 4/16. Phillip dug about 24" down from the ground level at the well casing and is not seeing any evidence of a surface seal. He is going to coordinate with Adam and shock chlorinate and flush the well/system. Adam will then retest with 4 more repeat samples (once all chlorine has been verified to be out of the system). Adam is posting the public boil water notice and will provide a copy to me. I also reminded him to take 5 routine samples in May. Adam is pursing connecting to the City of Salems drinking water.
