| Details: | SUMMARY: Turbidity Spike on March 29 DETAILS: The March 2015 monthly Surface Water Report showed the highest turbidity reading for March 29 as over 5 NTU, which would be a violation. Spoke with Jake. The turbidimeter sent an alarm early in the morning of the 29th, and Jake turned the flow out so it would not enter the clearwell. However, the turbidimeter continued to take readings from the surface source, and Jake entered the highest reading onto the form even though that water did not go into the drinking water system. I advised Jake to submit a revised report that showed the highest turbidity reading of water that actually went into the clearwell. Received the revised report on 5/21. The highest reading of water that went into the system was 2.8 NTU, thus there was no violation for March. ACTION NEEDED: none. | ||
