| Details: | SUMMARY: Presence of coliform 3/30/15 sample DETAILS: Pg.2.(Continued) also want to remind you about the deficiencies listed for you to correct following the survey last summer. (There was a separate list for each water system). When any of the items on the list remain uncorrected for 120 days the water system is required to provide a notice to water system users about the needed corrections that are still waiting… So attached are instructions for what’s called Tier 2 public notice. Follow the instructions and provide to your tenants and a copy to dwp.dmce@state.or.us So there is likely a tier 2 public notice for the north system residents and there is a tier 2 public notice for the south system residents. Because the north system residents are using the south system water you are also supposed to give the north residents the tier 2 notice relating to the south system.PLEASE TELL ME WHEN YOU STOP SHARING THE SOUTH SYSTEM WELL WITH NORTH SYSTEM RESIDENTS. In the meantime when you are doing monthly routine samples CONTINUE taking at least one sample in the north system and at least one sample in south system. If all 5 TEMPORARY ROUTINE samples DON’T come back clean by month’s end then you will need to take more samples for the south system. I hope you will eventually purge all the chlorine out of the south well. I have been advised to discourage you from adding chemicals to the well to use of the chlorine. As per our phone visit today, I am glad you already decided that you will not add any chemicals into the well. ACTION NEEDED: Follow up sampling as outlined and Continue to make correction to system. | ||
