| Details: | SUMMARY: discussion of violations and corrective actions DETAILS: major points of phone conversation on 4-14-15:on going presence of coliform showing in sample results (refer to 4/9-15 email re COLI14033)-- Efforts to use faucets not likely to foul results-- Considering a contractor to put a new chlorinator on the system that supposedly is better at provide chlorine proportionate to flow.On going chlorine measurement from source continues to be > 0.2 ppm.Confirmed "do not use chemical to inactivate chlorine found in south well" let the chlorine to gradually be used.Acknowledge need to move forward with plan review for a storage tank and a change in how chlorine is to be applied. Ms Willis is concerned about DWS threatening enforcement. Advised she Prioritize correction of those significant deficiencies with potential bad effects to health of consumers. Advised Except for continuing to make corrections there is no control over state DWS taking punitive action. ACTION NEEDED: Continue to make correction to system.Call DWS in Springfield to move forward with plan review. | ||
