| Details: | SUMMARY: clarify use of monthly disinfection report for ground water system DETAILS: Spoke w/ Jim Pearce, Jeff May and email Jim Pearce and Mark Labart essence of discussion re use of the Monthly Disinfection Report for Ground Water Systems. (A Tier 2 public notice template for failure to meet the 4-log requirement was attached to the email)This email describes a couple things the state is telling you to do different with your monthly report.In short, • “Not Occupied” or something similar should be written on the report on each DATE line no one uses the building. • the minimum chlorine strength required currently is 1.0 mg/L.• If you measure less than 1.0, do something to fix it and document another reading showing it is fixed within 4 hours of the first reading.• Because you went beyond 4 hours in March without showing a fix you are supposed to do a public notice. I made one up for you with more detail than you need. It is attached. A blank one is also attached in case you choose to simplify the notice. ACTION NEEDED: As above | ||
