| Details: | SUMMARY: Letter Sent Regarding Site Visit DETAILS: A letter was sent to the presumed operator of this water system (Dale Walker) as well as all of the property owners with connections to this small purchasing water system. The letter detailed significant deficiencies observed during a 5/6/15 site visit to the system. The purpose of the site visit was to assess the general quality of the infrastructure of this newly discovered purchasing public water system.The following deficiencies were observed and summarized in the letter:1. Incorrectly installed vent pipe--2. Unscreened depth gauge tubes-- and3. Zero-Pressure events in the distribution system without issuing Boil Water Advisories.Also, it should be noted that the operator of the water system has not begun regular microbiology water quality testing as of this date and has not submitted plans for formal review to the OHA. ACTION NEEDED: The operator is obligated by State rules to resolve the listed deficiencies and being water quality testing and submit plans for formal review. It is worth noting that this is a ‘State-Regulated’ public water system. | ||
