| Details: | SUMMARY: Stage 2 DBP and TOC Reduction Letter DETAILS: Daniel Waterbury contacted me regarding the eligibility for a reduction in DBP and TOC monitoring upon completion of a year’s worth of monthly TOC monitoring and quarterly standard monitoring of DBPs under the Stage 2 Disinfection Byproducts Rule. As indicated in our phone conversation, based upon the results, a reduction was granted such that monitoring for TOC of the source water for each plant is reduced to quarterly beginning April 1, 2015. Sampling for DBPs (including both TTHM and HAA5) can now be conducted once each year in November at the SM-1 sample site at 93056 Keller Rd, beginning in November 2015. ACTION NEEDED: Begin reduced quarterly TOC monitoring and annual DBP monitoring as indicated. | ||
