Details: SUMMARY: CORRECTIVE ACTION PLAN: E-mail, Not-Approved DETAILS: An e-mail was sent to Gene Fortune, a representative of the water system. The e-mail was in response to a proposed corrective action plan/schedule submitted by Mr. Fortune on 5/4/15 which stated:"Once again we are going in a different direction . To become a public water system would cost to much money and there are to many IFs at the end of each stage , we are going to close the park down,"Mr. Fortune,Thank you for sending us this update. Your timeline seems reasonable-- however, we are concerned that even if all of the RV park tenants are removed, your water system will remain a ‘Public Water System’ because we see the potential for at least 6 serviceconnections as defined by rule. As well, there will likely still be significant numbers of people with ‘access’ to the water. In Oregon, a public water system is defined as any piped water system for human consumption that has 4 or more connections and/or 10 or more people.A connection is usually defined as any circumstance where the water crosses a property line or when it connects to a permanent structure (like a mobile home).park their last day is on sunday may 31. We are already getting a lot of talk of fighting the closing of the park . We will send letters to the rest of the park on the 31st of the month they will have 60 days by Oregon law to get a new place to live. So the park will be closed on the 31st of july, Thank you for your understanding Nate Arthurs RV park manager gene fortune. PS please send to other people that need to know what is happening"We acknowledged receipt of the proposed corrective action plan/schedule via e-mail on 5/5/15.
