| Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up on OERS Spill Report # 2015-1003 DETAILS: I was notified by the Public Health Duty Officer at 3 pm on 5/15/15 of an unknown quantity of diesel fuel spilled by a semi truck that had overturned near Mile Post 20 near Leaburg. Spill is into an unamed creek which feeds the McKenzie River. I consulted our emergency spill maps for the area and determined that EWEB may be impacted with an intake on the McKenzie River. I called Ray around 320 pm on 5/15 to notify him. He had already heard of the incident about an hour previously, and had no question of DWS at this time. I forwarded the OERS report to him for his reference via email. ACTION NEEDED: No specific action at this time. DWS to provide support to District as necessary. | ||
