| Details: | SUMMARY: boil advisory DETAILS: 2346 homes in the Rosemont pressure zone ("upper" section) of the City of West Linn are on a boil advisory as of early this morning. One reservoir has been out of service so this part of the system is operated by pumps. The system experienced a power failure leading to loss of pressure in the area. some homes were temporarily completely without water. They were able to restore pressure within 20 minutes, but are now flushing, and will collect 4-5 coliform samples in a few hours. Results are expected back Wednesday morning, when they can hopefully lift the boil advisory. Chlorine residual is normally 0.6 to 1.1 ppm. ACTION NEEDED: await results | ||
