| Details: | SUMMARY: one total coliform positive sample DETAILS: Elaine left a message for the DWS phone duty person today (Joe Carlson). She wanted to verify that she needed to take repeat samples. The Region 2 tech staff phone duty person was in a meeting, so Joe responded to her himself. He affirmed that the water system should take their repeat samples (3 required) and one triggered sample from each source that was active at the time that the positive coliform sample was collected (two of their wells were active at that time). Because Junction City collects 6 coliform samples monthly, they do not need to submit extra routine samples next month. ACTION NEEDED: Await results of repeat and triggered samples. | ||
