| Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up-Lead detect of .0372 from sample date 9-24-15 DETAILS: I spoke with the operator about the sample with the high lead detect. This sample tap is a source sample tap that he installed after the plumbing work was finished. The building was completely remodeled with all new plumbing from a school bond. When the plumbing was done the source sample tap was removed. The operator installed the tap with an old hose bib he had laying around. The building does not have many sample taps & he used this to pull a lead & copper sample. I let him know that we want to have L & C samples taken from representative locations. This is not a good location as general users would not have access to this tap. He said he has already replaced the old bib with a lead free unit so it wont be a source of lead in the system. All other fixtures & plumbing are new with the remodel. ACTION NEEDED: Monitor further sampling in 6 months & respond if necessary. | ||
