Details: | SUMMARY: Population and Connections Update DETAILS: E-mail regarding population count and connections:Hi David, after reviewing the number of connections and population for the Leaburg Powerhouse water system I have determined due to the population being under the requirements and the fourth connection not being occupied that the system can remain as is and not be a public water system. The population was calculated based on the information you provided to me and it was determined that the maximum daily population was 10 for approximately 26 days out of the year, 9 for an additional 26 days, and 6 for the remaining 313 days out of the year. This population does not qualify for the 10 or more people for 60 or more days out of the year. The connections for the water system consist of 1 connection for the commercial use of office/ shop/ powerhouse and conference building and three connections for each residence. Since you are still not meeting the population requirements and one of the connections is a vacant home we are going to continue to keep this water system deactivated. At such time that someone does start living in the third residence that would be the trigger to reactivate this public water system. ACTION NEEDED: None |
