| Details: | SUMMARY: Alert Follow-up on a TC+ routine sample. DETAILS: Operator took an assessment sample from the well head prior to chlorination and it was negative. The one in distribution with a .35 chlorine residual was positive for coliforms. That does not really make sense but that is what happened. The operator was at a water training in Portland today so the repeat samples will be taken on Thursday - 4 in distribution and one a the Source. The operator mentioned that they have been supplying the Memaloose Park with irrigation water since their system has broken and not repaired. The system is pumping 80,000 gal a day at this time due to the dry conditions. The positive may have happened due to scouring the distribution or a bad sample site. The repeats will help chase down the problem. ACTION NEEDED: Nitrate sample was also taken on 6-16-15 also. | ||
