Details:	SUMMARY: Site Visit DETAILS: 6/22/15 – Site Visit. Ian Stromquist & James Nusrala first met with Nathan Arthur at the service station. Nathan stated that he was aware that we were coming and directed us to speak with his son-in-law ‘Gene Fortune’. Ian & James met with Gene. Gene gave us a copy of a re-issued public notification that they had distributed on 4/14/15-- we kept a copy of the notice and determined that it was a copy of the notice that Hood River County Health Department had distributed on 3/3/15 (with the date changed).Ian & James toured the properties and counted service connections. They also examined the spring area. A separate report will be generated by James Nusrala detailing those observations.Ian & James hand-delivered an updated public notification (drafted by the OHA) to all present RVs, mobile home and the retail establishments.We learned that an additional (empty) tax lot is also connected to the water system: ‘2N-10E-25C-901’. This parcel is located directly across Neal Creek Mill Rd. Reportedly, the operators of the water system attempted to purchase the property and installed the water connection before the sale was final. Currently, the tax-lot is being purchased by the Port of Hood River. Ian Stromquist contacted a responsible person at the Port (Anne Medenbach, Development & Property Manager) and delivered the boil water notification verbally over the phone (3:30pm 6/22/15). ACTION NEEDED: (1) Formally disclose the water system’s intent toward reaching compliance (including specific proposed actions and timelines)--(2) Resolve fecal contamination of water-- and(3) Complete other requirements as directed by the Oregon Health Authority including Plan Review.
