| Details: | SUMMARY: continued boil water notice due to sample results from 7/9/15 DETAILS: On 7/9/15, a field visit was made to the water system in regards to the boil water notice. These coliform samples were collected at: 3 locations immediately around city hall, other permanent sample location (Harrison and Aurora), and a private residential home. Four out of 5 were total coliform positive. The non-detect was at the private residence. The system batch chlorinated the storage tank with 4 lbs of sodium hypochlorite on 7/11/15. The system started to flush the fire hydrants on 7/13/15. A brief field visit was made by OHS to deliver free chlorine residual packets to test the water with. At 9:00 am the residual was 0.2 ppm. ACTION NEEDED: Flush the system and check for chlorine residual. The system can collect 5 more samples as soon as the chlorine is gone from the system. Boil notice continues until 5 clean samples are received. | ||
