| Details: | SUMMARY: Total coliform alert DETAILS: The repeat samples all came back TC positive. A Tier 2 public notice was already posted after the first coliform positive result. They will just leave that notice up till all is clear. They are now taking an additional repeat sample at an organizational camp (leased from USFS) on the other side of the lake from the campground, on the same water system. With those results, USFS will decide what corrective action to take. ACTION NEEDED: Yogi will email me a copy of the public notice that was posted. I will also send him a copy of the draft Level 1 RTCR Investigation form in case they want to use it for this coliform investigation. Yogi is also emailing me a list of USFS properties that the Klamath Falls office maintains, facility-wise. I intend to ask DMCE to update the contact information for those PWSs, changing it from someone who used to work in Lakeview (Dave Thomas) to the engineering unit in K. Falls, and Yogi in particular for now. Dave Hosack is a USFS recreation staff person in Lakeview-- he may be closer to do site investigations for many of these locations. | ||
