| Details: | SUMMARY: positive repeat sample at same location as original routine positive DETAILS: System has been having issues with the chlorinator. It was turned back on after the initial positive but there was no chlorine residual at the time the samples were collected. On 7/22/15 the residual was at 0.3. As the one repeat sample that was total coliform positive was at the original location and all other repeats and source sample were absent for bacteria, a request has been submitted to invalidate these samples based on sample tap. I told Norm a replacement routine sample needs to be collected this quarter and assuming it is absent for bacteria, they will stay on their quarterly schedule. The additional follow up sample requirement is no longer needed for this alert. ACTION NEEDED: A request was submitted to DMCE to invalidate the coliform samples based on sample tap. The system is to collect a replacement routine sample for the 3rd quarter. No other follow up sample requirements are needed at this time. | ||
