Details: SUMMARY: Phthalate detection at 1/2 MCL DETAILS: I requested information on the QA/QC report for the phthalate detection. The QA/QC indicated the detection was re-ran and it was not flagged. I spoke with Joe Carlson regarding the detection. Joe said this could be an indication the system has some plastic in the water system that is not NSF certified. The system is due for there water survey this year and during that time the health inspector will talk with the system about locating some source of this phthalate by looking at the components in the water system by the entry point. ACTION NEEDED: Follow up with system during water survey.
