| Details: | Roberta called this morning regarding the total coliform positive sample result. The sample had been collected on 3/17/21. The system had a water loss issue that took some time to get repaired. As far as Roberta knew, there was no chlorine flush through the system post repairs. Likely the contamination was caused from the repairs. Although the contamination wasn't confirmed, I recommended a chlorine flush through the system followed up with repeat coliform samples. In speaking with Roberta, it was determined that the water system has had a significant loss of business going on a couple of years know. The water system was not serving enough people to warrant it still being active as a state regulated water system. DWS to inactivate the water system based on population drop. |
