| Details: | SUMMARY: Removal of lead service lines and leaded joints DETAILS: Mark and I spoke on the requirement that leaded pipe and leaded joints be removed on a schedule acceptable to DWS, as outlined in OAR 333-061-0087(4). I indicated that this is a requirement even if the Citys lead and copper tap sample results are below action levels. The City is planning on removing all leaded pipe and joints on a schedule, and this removal will be a line item in the Citys upcoming new water master plan. The City plans on submitting the master plan to DWS for review in the next couple of months. ACTION NEEDED: City to remove all leaded pipe and joints. DWS to review discussion of such removal in the upcoming review of the Citys water master plan. | ||
