| Details: | SUMMARY: Main Break Resulting in Limited Boil Order DETAILS: Baker City had a main break just off Main street at 1st and Court this morning. Six commercial businesses were out of water. Pressure was restored, and the line was chlorinated and flushed. A worker notified all businesses except one. They realized they missed one, a tanning salon, hours later, and several customers had drank several glasses of water. They have since contacted those customers to let them know (though there’s nothing they can do). A coliform sample is in the mail but they do not expect results until Monday. Jake wanted to make sure he had done all he needed to do. I suggested he document actions taken by the city in case there are questions later. He agreed. ACTION NEEDED: System to document the break and the actions taken. Lifting the limited boil order will depend on sample result. | ||
