| Details: | SUMMARY: August 4-hour turbidity readings exceed limit DETAILS: Notified Dan this date that system actually exceeded the limit of 95% of 4-hour turbidity readings less than or equal to 0.3 NTU in August. Three out of 48 readings (8/11, 8/18, & 8/31) were slightly over 0.3 NTU which equals 6.25%. The system will get a violation for August and a public notice must be posted (note: template sent to operator). ACTION NEEDED: Post a public notice within 30 days. Discussed with Dan the possibility of filtering-to-waste prior to returning filters to service (which would solve the problem). The violation will return to compliance if the turbidity limits are met in September. | ||
