| Details: | 3/25: I spoke with Robert Trotter regarding McNulty Water PUD's 3/24 Arsenic MCL exceedance notice for 2 water samples. Robert says that both samples were collected at the same tap, located at the Robinette ASR Well. Robert also added that the Robinette Well and ASR are currently isolated from the rest of the drinking water system, and water which is not collected for sampling is being pumped to waste. Based on Robert's description, people are not drinking water from that well/ASR location due its isolated configuration at this time, yet they still are sampling from that location to get an ongoing idea of the situation when working with contractors to decide the best type of arsenic filtration system for McNulty's water system. I also advised that samples collected at the ASR and/or Robinette Well, which is a Source, to list it as a "SRC-DA" Source sample so that we don't misinterpret the result as an Entry Point to Distribution or EP-D sample location, such as a diluted Reservoir water test, for example. |
