| Details: | SUMMARY: MPA Testing DETAILS: The Shangri La Water District has a well sources community water system which serves 92 connections with an approximate population of 280 persons. The well water is disinfected by liquid NaOCl prior to entering a large pipe which acts as a chlorine contact vessel. The Circuit Rider was contacted by the water system to provide assistance with MPA sampling. The initial round of MPA sampling was completed in 2013.Coordinated with DWS staff regarding need of water system to complete testing regime. Reviewed notes regarding plans of water system to install either a new well, or treatment. ACTION NEEDED: Complete testing regime as required by OHA-DWS. The District will need to collect 2 more samples by the end of 2015. | ||
