| Details: | SUMMARY: Nitrate alert follow up DETAILS: Routine nitrate result was 7.1. Called operator Dan and discussed. System has had high nitrate results from many years and is R & C between 5-8mg/L. Reminded Dan that both wells need annual nitrate testing even though a wellfield. He will take a nitrate sample from the other well (EP-C) before end of year. We also discussed that these results are valuable if ever blending sources would be needed to reduce overall nitrate. ACTION NEEDED: Sample second well before end of year and sample both sources annually to ensure <10.49 MCL. | ||
