Details: SUMMARY: Water System Evaluation and SAPP Letter of Interest DETAILS: The Nate Arthurs RV Park is a small water system southeast of Hood River. The water system had previously been unknown to the OHA. Complaints about the water led to an initial investigation from Hood River County. It was determined that the water system serves a full time resident RV Park as well as a few businesses. The water system was classified as a Community water system. The system had not gone through the necessary plan review for the source (a spring) and the distribution system. The Circuit Rider was contacted by the water system and Loren Schultz (Oregon IFA) to provide a preliminary evaluation of the needs of the water system. In addition, Loren Schultz requested assistance with a Letter of Interest for the IFA Sustainability Activities Pilot Program (SAPP). Visited water system. Provided preliminary evaluation comments and next step scenarios to the water system owner. Started completion of the SAPP Letter of Interest. The water system did not move forward with the application. NOTE: The water system has subsequently been reclassified as a TNC system as the RV Park tenants are no longer customers. When assistance was provided, the system was a Community system. ACTION NEEDED: None Needed
