| Details: | SUMMARY: follow up to E. coli positive routine sample DETAILS: Dolores called about the E. coli positive routine sample at the roadside water fountain. First - DWS to update admin change request. Second - dealing with the fountain - there is no way to chlorinate the spring box - only access is to the valves (on USFS property). System will valve off to bypass the fountain and flush for an extended period of time. A public notice was sent to the system for use at the site. The system will take follow up samples at a later time and when samples are clear, will put back in service. ACTION NEEDED: System to valve off water and flush as needed. Post public notice. Take 5 follow up samples at a later time, if clear, then system can be put back in operation. | ||
