| Details: | SUMMARY: Routine TC+ alert follow up DETAILS: One of two temporary routine coliform present on Friday. System was notified Saturday and called me on Monday. System was to take 5 temp routines during September, but first round of two had a TC+. Spoke with Scott and Russell at the lab and system will take 3 repeats as well as 2 triggered source samples. We discussed possibility that this is residual from line break last month? Scott is considering a chlorination to ensure no more bacteria and make sure emergency chlorinator is working correctly. ACTION NEEDED: Wait for results of repeats to dictate further action if needed. If repeats absent, will need to take remaining 3 temp routines for the month of October. If any are positive, this will be an MCL violation and go directly to corrective action and no more temp routines needed. Take 5 temp routine in distribution in November regardless. | ||
