| Details: | SUMMARY: Nitrate-- sample date 8/10/2015 DETAILS: The alert is generated because the result was over Y2 of the MCL. Nitrate level was6.99 mg/1. This isnt above the maximum contaminant level, of [10.0 mg/1]. This sample was required to determine if firm needs to be on quarterly sampling schedule. It was discussed with Drinking Water program that if sample climbed above 8 mg/1 then continue with quarterly sample plan. Since 1993 to current, the Nitrate water samples has varied from a high of 8.9 to a low of 3.2 and has had short term trends both up and down. The recent results do not appear to represent a long term trend and fall within normal variability of the water . ACTION NEEDED: None.
