| Details: | SUMMARY: 5 out of 5 TR coliform positive DETAILS: • Unfortunately, on 10/7, Bill Kingsley had tested all of back flow devices in the system, and found the device at 27846 LSL had to be pulled, repaired, and replaced. We surmised that the contamination may have been from Kingsleys intervention.• In discussion with Sarah, we were given the option of not doing the 3 distribution and 2 source samples, taking a violation, then doing the 5 distribution samples in November. If the November samples were negative, we would be back to normal order. (I was under the impression we were already in violation, so we chose the option).• Given todays result, I have to wonder if well #5 is the problem. ACTION NEEDED: Collect 5 confirmation samples as Well #5, and one sample from Well #2 (for triggered source violations). Isolate Well #5 from system, shock chlorinate system, collect 5 TR in Dec plus trigger sample from active well (Well #2 only active after isolation of Well #5 due to suspected contamination) | ||
