| Details: | SUMMARY: E. coli Positive Alert Response DETAILS: 11/7 - Received word from the lab that the routine sample collected on 11/6 tested positive for E. coli. Spoke with Mike. Reviewed followup sampling requirements for three repeat samples plus one triggered source sample from SRC-AB, new well #1, as it was the only well running at the time. 11/8 - Spoke with Mike. He collected the follow up samples, and switched to using well #2 and the 10,000 gallon storage tank. Well #1 was batch chlorinated after collecting the source sample. The water in the 10,000 gallon tank was chlorinated to about 2 ppm. Advised Mike that he could distribute a boil notice at his discretion before the follow up sample results were in. No violation unless one or more of the follow up samples tested positive for bacteira. 11/9 - Got word that all four follow up samples tested absent for coliform bacteria. No boil order required and no violation for the month of November. ACTION NEEDED: System to collect five routine samples in December. | ||
