| Details: | SUMMARY: Nitrate above 50°/o ofMCL DETAILS: I discussed the alert generated for the Nitrate test conducted on 09/08/2015 and the result of 5.0243 mg/1 that is greater than 50% the Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) of 10.0 with the owner of the firm. I discussed the requirement of increasing the frequency of Nitrate tests to quarterly monitoring as required by Oregon Administrative Rule (OAR) 333-061-0036(2)(e)C & D starting in the fourth quarter of 2015 (1 sample in either October, November, or December) and to continue quarterly monitoring for 1 year. The water is used to supply water to the soda machine in the store among other uses per Mr. Su. Additionally, I provided Mr. . Su with a link via email to the EPA webpage regarding Nitrate as a contaminant of drinking water. ACTION NEEDED: none | ||
