| Details: | SUMMARY: : NITRATE EXCEEDANCE-- sample date 10/13/2015. DETAILS: The alert is generated because the result was over 2 times the MCL.The firm has nitrate treatment. Nitrate level was 31.0 mg/1. This is above the maximum contaminant level of [10.0 mg/1]. Jack Bellinger stated that their nitrate treatment equipment was replaced with a brand new device. The technician for the equipment adjusted device and stated it should be fixed to have limit far below 10 mg/1. Jack Bellinger will be ordering another nitrate sample test to ensure new treatment device is working properly. ACTION NEEDED: A public notice is required to be displayed until a passing sample result. | ||
