Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up to 12/1/15 Routine E. Coli + DETAILS: I discussed the follow up steps to the 12/1 routine E. Coli positive sample at space #60 w/ Chris. I indicated that 4 repeat samples are needed to be collected in the system today. He indicated that the chlorinator for well #2 has been operating effectively, and given that 4-log compliance monitoring reports have been submitted to DWS to date, I indicated that no source sample at well #2 is necessary at this time. We discussed the four repeat locations: at #60, one nearby in one direction, one nearby in another direction, and the last anywhere in the park. Chris indicated that the mobile home park portion of system is now served by City of Gold Beach, only the trailer village remains. He has 3 sample bottles, but will try and obtain a fourth today. I reminded Chris to record chlorine residuals with each sample on the lap slip. ACTION NEEDED: System to follow up with 4 repeat samples and deliver those to the lab today (Friday). DWS to support Curry County to discuss any corrective action and public notice pending the results of the repeat samples with Chris early next week. System to collect 5 temporary routines in January regardless of the results of the repeat samples. I spoke with Brody Hodges of Curry County shortly afterward and we agreed on this approach and I provided Chris number to him. | ||
