Details: SUMMARY: Water System Inspection DETAILS: The Tillamook County Parks Department has a groundwater system at the Trask River Campground, which is located on Trask River Road southeast of Tillamook. The water system is a well system with a storage tank and water booster pump. The system provides potable water for camp use as well as showers. The Circuit Rider was contacted by Ken Staples of Tillamook County to provide a general inspection of the condition and operation of the park water system. The county is investigating the possibilities of expanding the park as well as the water system. Visited water system and inspected the existing well, pump station and storage tank. Discussed alternatives to a separate booster pump providing water pressure to the campground. Also reviewed plan review requirements for water system improvements. ACTION NEEDED: None needed at this time.
