Details: SUMMARY: follow up to loss of pressure DETAILS: Per Melanie Olson on conference call. We had a good discussion with the City. the City is experiencing a rapid water loss in one of the two reservoirs and they cannot confirm the location of the leak. They cannot confirm pressure has dropped below 20 psi in the lower zone (commercial zone) but has definitely dropped in the upper zone. City issued a boil water notice as a precautionary step for all users. One of the laterals broke in the lower zone but that has since been capped. Still experiencing significant water loss. City believes it is somewhere between the two reservoirs. The City is very concerned about land movement and would like to work with someone to evaluate the situation. They also intend to contact OAWU to assist with leak detection. Can use any and all help they can get. Have an immediate need for bottled water. I emailed them the public notice template and the bmp for reduced pressure events. It was also recommended not to worry about finances, this can come later, fixing the problem is priority ACTION NEEDED: none
