| Details: | SUMMARY: Getting their surface water filtration treatment back into compliance for PWSs DETAILS: DWS is still waiting on legal paperwork to confirm the propertys current owner with regard to Admin Order status. Beary Smith had phoned several staff in November about getting the RV License back and their water system situation. Could not reach him again by phone as the VM was not accepting messages. I emailed Beary instead (and ccd Derek Den Heyer whom he is working with) saying they cannot get their RV license back without complying with Oregon PWS rules. Explained they will need technical assistance to assess and rehab their neglected slow sand filter or switch to other filtration. Gave them info on OAWU & their Circuit Rider program (RV Park is a transient system), or suggested finding an engineer with relevant experience. Also gave website for the DWS free surface water treatment training classes in 2016. Although I also copied Barbara Den Heyer, her email bounced back as undeliverable. ACTION NEEDED: None at this time. | ||
