| Details: | SUMMARY: Five Confirmation Source Water Assessment samples positive for E. coli (COLI15027) DETAILS: The five Confirmation source water samples for SRC-AA (well-L83657) were positive for E. coli. I discussed the posting of a Tier 1 boil water notice and discussed water usage at the store. A template for E. coli in the source water was provided to the water system operator. Options such as installing a disinfection system (i.e. sodium hypochlorite) and commencing interim 4-log virus inactivation compliance monitoring to remove the boil water notice were discussed with Kevin Crumley from the corporate office. Another option discussed was the plumbing of a potable water hauler truck to the stores distribution system. Additionally the evaluation of SRC-AA by a Drinking Water Program hydro geologist was discussed and appropriate paperwork will be provided by me via email. The Tier 1 Boil Water Public Notice was posted in the store and a copy of the notice was provided to the DWP. ACTION NEEDED: Ensure public notice is posted | ||
