| Details: | SUMMARY: Update in response to Administrative Order DETAILS: Brad Daniels, enforcement coordinator, and I called Gene for an update to July 2015 order and notice of violation. While Crystal Springs Water District has built waterpipe and meters for the two businesses at the RV Park, pipes from meter to businesses and backflow prevention have not been installed yet. The Park continues to be a public water system served by the spring, with the two businesses, 3 RV trailers and a private home. Gene indicated his plan is to connect the remaining connections to Crystal Springs, and use the spring for irrigation only, but that he has been delayed from running construction equipment to trench waterlines due to recent surgery. He hopes to be able to begin construction within 30 days. ACTION NEEDED: For interim public health protection, DWS to forward boil water public notice to Gene this week, for him to distribute to all customers and post in the businesses, with a dated copy to be returned to DWS. DWS reitereated need for Gene to collect Nitrate sample as soon as possible with results sent to DWS. Gene indicated that he has distributed the previous boil water notice received from Hood River County within the park. DWS provided fax number for Gene to forward any water quality test results not received yet. | ||
