| Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up to HAA5 detection in 4th quarter greater than MCL DETAILS: I called Bob to review the total haloacetic acids (HAA5) result of 0.0609 mg/L, which is greater than the MCL of 0.060 mg/L. Running annual average is 0.0529 mg/L, and Operational Evaluation Level over past 3 quarters is 0.0586 mg/L. Both are below the compliance value of 0.060 mg/L for HAA5. Bob indicated recirculation system is helping him maintain a chlorine residual in system. System is working to fix damage at intake to reduce raw water turbidity to be able to continue to treat water effectively. ACTION NEEDED: System to continue on quarterly DBP monitoring in February, May, August and November. DWS to review compliance with OEL and LRAA in subsequent quarters. | ||
