| Details: | SUMMARY: NO3 alert follow up DETAILS: Called Kodiak and discussed elevated nitrate result of 9.8 from well # 2. (well #1 was 4.21 in March). Discussed looking for any possible point source, taking nitrate samples a different times to see any seasonality and blending sources if ever over 10.49 mg/L. System has historically had elevated nitrates up to 8+ mg/L, so it is R &C and no qtrly sampling needed at this time. ACTION NEEDED: Take annual nitrate samples from both sources at different times throughout the year to see if any seasonal changes in nitrate results. Look for any point sources of nitrates e.g. septic systems, fertilizing, livestock wastes, etc. | ||
