| Details: | SUMMARY: General Water System Evaluation Assistance DETAILS: The Wamic Water Association owns and operates a groundwater system that provides water to 150 people through 60 connections. The water system has 2 wells and a small water reservoir. The Circuit Rider was contacted by IFA and the water system to provide an evaluation of the system which will help point the correct direction for future planning and funding needs. Circuit Rider had previously provided recommendations for reservoir sizing and other system improvements in 2008. According to the water system, there have been changes in operational conditions and needs of the community. The system is in the process of looking for funding for needed improvements. Loren Shultz with the Oregon IFA is assisting the water system in their funding search. Visited water system. Inspected reservoir, wells and distribution system. Discussed operational and asset issues with water system volunteers. ACTION NEEDED: Provide funding application assistance in terms of planning and capital improvement cost estimates. | ||
