| Details: | SUMMARY: Construction Staging for Clearwell Repair DETAILS: Toledo Water Utilities owns and operates a water treatment plant (WTP) and distribution system that serves a population of approximately 3,585 people. There are approximately 1,325 connections within the system. Water is treated from the Siletz River and Mill Creek.The water system plans to rehab the clearwell/reservoir at the water treatment plant. As the clearwell will be off line, it is important to figure out the contact time available if the filter plant needs to operate. The Circuit Rider had performed two tracer studies-- one on the entire treatment plant, and one on the transmission main to the Wagon Road Pump Station. Jay Macpherson (OHA) contacted the Circuit Rider regarding work that had been done regarding the clearwell repair and contact time. It was requested by Jay and Bill Montgomery (Toledo) that the Circuit Rider attend a project coordination meeting with the City and other stakeholders. Attended project coordination meeting at the City of Toledo. Met with operations staff and OHA following the meeting in regard to specific issues surrounding the water treatment plant and the ability of the system to meet required contact time during construction project. ACTION NEEDED: Provide additional assistance if needed. | ||
