Details: SUMMARY: Alert follow-up on Assessment samples DETAILS: This systems assessment sample was e.coli positive, the routine distribution sample was negative. Of the five confirmation samples taken 3 were TC+ and two were clear.Since the routine was negative there is no follow-up samples need from the distribution system. ACTION NEEDED: Look at standing water up by the wellhead. Control methods are needed to reduce the population on Diggers(California Spotted Squirrel) around the cement slab/ well head. Operation may increase the chlorine residual in distribution for increased protection.Hydrogeologist may be looking at the well log and geology for clues on potential problems. One distribution sample in January.May want to take additional samples from well in Dec or Jan.
