I spoke with Jim this morning: he has collected five source confirmation samples and is going to drop them off at the lab this morning. He told me he has filled out and distributed the public notice and I gave him DWS fax number to send the notice. I recommended that the system be shock chlorinated, Jim agreed and said he would get the measurements from the storage tank so we can determine the volume-- I also sent him a guideline sheet on well disinfection and a link to an online storage tank volume calculator. Jim says he does not think there is a well log for the well and that it was possibly drilled in the 1960s. ACTION NEEDED: See above. | ||
